My name is Stuart Schofield, I developed Telaverus.com as a place to demonstrate my abilities to potential clients and employers. The company name Telaverus I created combining the Latin Tela, for "a web in weaving" and Verus, for "truth". It's a loose translation which I feel has a nice ring to it.

I have worked as an Electro-Mechanical Designer/Draftsman for approximately 20 years as well as a Computer Programmer and Web Developer interchangeably for the last 14 years.

The bulk of my career has been designing for the power electronics industry. My designs can be found in places like General Motors, Los Alamos National Labs, Brookhaven National Labs and on the battlefield in some military Humvee's. My early years working with primitive versions of AutoCAD introduced me to the world of programming; skills which I recently utilized to develop the Weld Symbols App for the iPhone and Android operating systems.

My most recently completed Electro-Mechanical Design project is the Chevy Volt battery repurposing system for General Motors. You can see images of my work in this article: http://insideevs.com/used-chevrolet-volt-batteries-power-building/

My most recent web project is the Apex Composites website.

My main focus now is obtaining employment with an employer who can utilize my skills and experience to help meet their business objectives.
